He watched, through a small cloud of mist that he had conjured. As the now passing clouds created a small breeze, he knew there would be no danger of discovery. As soon as he reached his house, he had summoned the cloud and had been watching most of what had transpired. The girl was smart to protect herself with plants. She would have died if she hadn't.
The bond between these two was strong, Aaron would have a hard time manipulating it, but he knew he could find a way. Only one real question was left in his head though, what would be the next move of these pawns in his grand chess game. As he saw the great pain in both their faces, Aaron thought,
" Isn't it lovely, what hell I can cause."
With that, he released the mist, and went to sleep with a sadistic smile on his face.
