Languages: Does your character speak any foreign languages? Others find that pretty attractive.
Occupation: Do they have any job besides protecting or destroying the world? Do they have any side jobs such as working part time at a shop or restaurant? A little something on the side always makes for a good story.
Skills
WEAPON
Weapon Form: When Your Character Shifts into their weapon form, what do they look like? Are they a sword, a bow and arrow, or something more unique. Explain their shape, size and how to use them. Explain their strengths, weaknesses, and everything a Technician would need to know in order to use you to the best of their abilities.
Starter Ability: As a weapon, you have the option of choosing a starter ability that use can use while in your weapon form. This ability must be a low-level ability since, after all, you are just starting out (unless you are a teacher or special arrangements have been made). What is the name of your ability and what does it do? How does one tap in to this awesome power. What are its strengths and weaknesses? What makes this special ability special?
TECHNICIAN:
Special Ability Ability: As a Technician, you have access to a window of abilities no other can use. Soul Perception, Soul Menace, and others no other class can use. What is your special Technician ability?
Starter Ability: Technician's can't always rely on their partner(s) to be there. Sometimes they need to roll up their sleeves and get the job done themselves. In other instances your weapon may just need a small boost and you, being their partner, might be the only one able to provide that boost. If that's the case, do you have a special ability you're just itching to try out? Let us know. Just remember it should be a low-level unless agreed otherwise.
WITCH:
Animal Familiar: Every witch as an Animal-Based alter in which they channel their powers from. What animal are you? What does your witch shift in too? Can she use her magical abilities while in this form? Describe the appearance of her animal form, its height, weight and everything else. Anyone can picture a bird or a wolf. Allow us to picture you.
Starter Ability: As a Witch who draws strength from her animal familiar, your abilities should reflect that. Especially your most basic ability. Though this is true, not all powers stem from that of your animal. Perhaps you are more grounded elementally. Whatever the case, show your ability, what it is capable of, and why all should fear the power of a Witch. Unlike a Weapon or a Technician, your starter ability does not have to be basic. Just a little hint.
Personality
Alignment: Are you with or against the Soul Reaver Academy?
Likes: What does your character like? Cherries, Popsicles? Rainbows? Blood, gore, and absolute destruction?
Dislikes: What does your character dislike? Cherries, Popsicles? Rainbows? Blood, gore, and absolute destruction (see what I did there?)?
Description: Give a fully detailed description of your character. What do they do in their spare time? What are their hobbies, their ticks, their goals and their aspirations? Are they kind and helpful, or hurtful and deceitful? What are their personality strengths and weaknesses? What do they like about themselves? What do they hate about themselves? What do they wish they could change? Ask yourself, if they came alive ad stood over your shoulder as you typed, what would they want you to say about them? This may be the only time you get to fully express every single aspect of your character's emotion. Take advantage of it. Make them real.
BIOGRAPHY
Give a history of your character's life here. Talk about their earliest memories with their family, friends and siblings. Express their first days dealing with conflict and stress. Relive, as they have, the good times and the bad. Create them by creating their past. Show the events that lead to their personality, their abilities, and their overall mentality. Describe their thoughts and feelings when they first learned of Shibusen and Death City. Also, if they were around (and/or if you wanna try and be fancy), talk about their role when Shibusen was being destroyed by the Kishin and what they did both during and after that dark day in history.
Give us a clear background on the events that made your character who they are today.
ROLEPLAY SAMPLE
The infamous RP sample. The make-or-break point in every application. So far you've created your character's appearance, introduced them to us. Shown us the abilities that make them unique. Took us on a journey of their subconscious and revealed to us things about them that they themselves might not even be aware of. You've shown us their past, a glimpse at their present, and paved a roadway to their future. But now... now is the time where you show us what you can do.
Give us a sample of your character and your writing ability as they come together. Show us an episode of your character's daily life. It could be something as simple as eating breakfast, or as enthralling as a battle. Put everything together; their appearance, personality, and your writing ability to give one spectacular vision of how you plan to interact here in the world of Soul Reaver Academy.
