PHYSICAL APPEARANCE
Figure/build: Karina is about five foot four inches. She has a very voluptuous shape, most of her assets being situated in her hips and breasts. Although she may look fragile, she’s very tough, and has the ability to do damage if ever thrown into a fight. People tend to not believe that she can hurt someone with a simple punch, so a lot of the times, she’s put into situations where she has to fight in order to show that she’s not as weak as some take her for.
Hair: Her hair takes on a rich brown, similar to the color of molasses.
Eye colour : Her eyes are also a dark brown, but when the sunlight hits them, they hit a lighter brown shade of amber.

Clothing Style: It tends to vary depending on her mood. For the most part, she can be seen wearing a white t-shirt the reaches a little bit above her belly button, along with a black leather skirt with suspenders attached. To complete her outfit, she wears black leather gloves, along with sneakers.

PERSONALITY
Personality: Karina is one of the most confusing people you will meet. She’s generally very happy and cheerful. She loves to smile, very rarely is she ever seen without one. Because of this, she was nicknamed “Sunshine”, for her exuberant and otherwise uplifting personality. She’s a plethora of emotions. She feels everything. A lot of the times, her emotions become unbearable to a point in which she feels as though she has to “run away” in order to escape them. A lot of the times, you will find her by herself, but for some reason, people just seem to gravitate towards her, both good and bad.
She’s tends to take on the personality of a young child, not because she’s acting like one, but it helps her shut out the memories of her childhood, which was pretty much a disaster. She uses it as a shield in order to cope with the pain of the thoughts that consume her mind.
She doesn’t think, she feels. A lot of the time, her judgments are based on her emotions, rather than logic.
She’s not the type of person who outwardly expresses her anger. It accumulates, until finally she takes it out on herself. Due to the overload of dealing with her own emotions, as well as everybody else’s; she’s periodically depressed. When depressed, everything comes crashing down, as she blames herself for other’s misfortunes. After a moment…more like hours of sulking around and feeling sorry for herself, she realizes that there’s no need to be depressed, and eventually reverts back to being her cheerful self.
In the end, Karina is a happy-go-lucky kind of girl who’s learned to take a more positive approach to living. Although she has her ups and downs, they never prevent her from being one of the most cheerful and nicest people around.

Personality Strengths: Her intuition. There have been many situations in which she could’ve easily gotten into trouble. She has a “6th sense” that allows her to sense when danger’s ahead, as well as to sense how someone’s truly feeling. 9 times out of 10, the feelings are right. This little ability allows her to brighten someone’s day, hence why she’s “Sunshine”.
Personality Weaknesses: Her emotions: Although she has the ability to keep them under the wraps so others can’t pick up on it, they become uncontrollable the more she holds them back. Although she’s learned that the only way for her to feel better is to feel through her emotions, it’s still a tough task to accomplish.
Her sensitivity: Even though she seems tough on the outside, she’s actually really sensitive. She can take everything to heart, no matter how hard she tries not to. Her heart is a fragile thing, any little comment she hears can twist her into a slew of sadness. If someone is mad at her, it dominates her mind to the point where she breaks down.
Her naivety: She’s very easily misled, and when she realizes that she had been, she tends to fall in a pit of depressions. This tends to cause her to stop everything that she’s supposed to get done, in order to wallow in her misery.

Fighting skills/techniques: Karina takes on a different variety of fighting skills, she doesn’t have just one. She uses a mixture between fighting and acrobatics in her attacks.

- Soul Perception: This ability allows Meisters to see the souls of other beings.
- Soul Points: An advanced form of soul perception that allows the Meister to not only see one’s soul, but also their body’s most vulnerable points: the points where a person’s soul wavelength is most concentrated, which varies from person to person; the most standard points being the form-arms, the thighs, the lower stomach, the heart, and the head. By using this ability a Meister can severely damage the flow of an opponent’s wavelength by striking these points, even having a chance to completely paralyze an opponent’s wavelength by hitting all of the points hard enough and causing small, concentrated Soul Menaces in these concentrated areas.
Weaknesses in combat:When she’s in a fight, a lot of the time she has an idea of how it’s supposed to play out, and she has a bad habit of trying to make it true.
Strengths in combat: Her small size allows her to move fluidly and effortlessly. As said before, she uses some movements of acrobatics as she is fighting, which allows for swifter and deadlier blows.

BACKSTORY
While most children had the experience of living in a loving home, with parents who cared and loved them, Karina had not been so lucky. Living with an overprotective father, and a mother who was jealous; Karina was subject to beatings, and unable to enjoy the outside world as other kids did. She had to sit through hours upon hours of harsh comments geared towards herself, as well as her parents going at each other. She had to listen as her mother doted her other siblings, while calling her a failure, a whore, and someone who would never amount to anything. Finally, at the age of 15, something snapped inside Karina. She gave up on coming home after school, seeking refuge in the hands of the streets and men who wanted her for their own sexual gratification. On one rainy night, Karina walked the streets in search of shelter, when her feet stopped her in front of the SRA. Suddenly, a small flicker of light ignited in her heart as she looked at the school with hope. “Maybe I can finally find some peace…” she whispered to herself as she walked the huge cobble steps that lead her inside….
Rp Example: Karina smiled as the small breeze ruffled her chocolate brown hair. She laid on her back, watching the clouds roll by. She loved days like today. Days where the sun spread its rays out across the Heavens, blessing those who walked beneath it. The sweet scent of roses perfumed the air, giving the springtime feeling to those who were out and about. She sat up for a moment, watching the other students as they ran about the fields, laughing and enjoying themselves. Her maroon brown eyes trailed the small cliques that were dispersed about.
“I wish I could join them,” she sighed softly. She knew that she would never be able to fit among them. She smiled softly to herself once more. “It’ll be alright though. I’ll make new friends soon enough.” She liked the idea of having friends. People who I can trust…someone who I can finally tell what I’ve been through. Karina never complained about her past, for she felt as though she had it easier than others. But the heaviness of the pain never ceased in her heart. All she wanted is someone to talk to. Someone who will listen….
