Though Karina was able to fend one off, no courage was flowing through her. Nazier was still frozen by her fear and could offer little to no help. She might have felt frustration were she not so absorbed into her own fear, but when the undead creatures massed around her and grabbed on to her, the ice got even thicker. "Karina!" Naz's voice yelled loudly in her mind, but she just wasn't reacting. He wasn't getting through to her. "Snap out of it, Karina!" The zombie bashed her up against the wall and she hit her head hard, rattling the spiritual world Nazier was trapped in. Not good... he thought to himself as the world began to go quiet. He was losing vision as hers blurred as well.
He could no longer hear her thoughts after the second time she hit the wall and everything went black. He was completely cut off from her."Karina? Karina!" The ice around him melted and he called out her name, but got no response. Everything was completely black. He was shut out completely. What was going on? What could be happening. He felt himself drop to the ground and rattle to stillness. She had released him. She was hurt.
"Karina!"
The katana's blade glowed with a demonic black before expanding like a rocket straight up.The light transformed into a foot, which slammed straight into the zombie's chin;the one that was assaulting Karina, and kept growing in length as Nazier reverted to a human-shaped shadow performing a hand-stand. As his spirit's molecules reformed completely, Nazier continued his kick by using his hand to push himself off the ground and literally kicked the zombie's head off its shoulders as he flipped himself back onto his feet.
His hair whipped around in a fury as the scent of human blood attracted his attention towards Karina's direction. "Karina...! Karina!" The sound of concern was absent from his tone, but he knew he should be concerned. He knew he should be worried for her. He could no longer see anything, but he could hear her breathing. She was still alive; still conscious even, but she was hurt. He could tell. He could also hear the footsteps of the two remaining zombies that drew closer with every second.
Nazier knew these creatures would not allow him to tend to his wounded partner. He had to get id of them himself, but in his human form, he possessed no unnatural strength or power. He was just as strong as a simple human. Even worse, he was blind so he could not see him. If he could feel emotions, he would probably feel fear and pressure, yet he didn't. He only knew that Karina was in trouble and he needed to destroy these monsters. "I will protect you." His voice sounded so calm and promising.
He stood and turned towards the charging zombies. He listened carefully to their footsteps and the echoes, judging the distance they were from him, but when he picked up that there was one already right in front of him, he had to react fact. He didn't have a fight or flight reflex, but he did have experience. He fired a straight right jab into the beast's chest, stopping it dead in its tracks. He could feel the rotted out diaphragm bend inwards, but it didn't cave in. Nazier then leaned into his powerful right jab, which blasted into the zombie's skull like it was launched from a cannon.
Broken teeth spilled into the air as the creature's entire upward body bent backward, but it did not fall. The second zombie was fast approaching from the left as well and posed an immediate danger. With a swift twist, he swung his right foot into a high-kick and struck the zombie on the left in the side of its face before reversing his movement, sweeping his leg down and spinning like a disc on the floor, tripping the zombie and causing it to fall on the floor, but the first zombie had regained its composure and was coming for him all over again, giving Nazier no chance to hesitate or catch his breath.
The pale-skinned fighter rises with a high left-kick that strike's the zombie beneath the chin like its head was a soccer ball, then he lunges forward with a straight right jab to the center body, causing the beast to double over in pain before finally being finished off by Nazier grabbing on to the back of its head, then smashing the point of his knee into the zombie's nose, forcing the bone to lodge itself into the creatures brain. He releases and the abomination flies backwards onto the ground in a sickening splat. It was dead.
With a few heavy breathes, Nazier tries to recollect himself. He was panting heavily as he walked over to his downed Meister and he knelt down in front of her then placed his hands on her shoulders and offered a kind smile. "You're okay," he said in such a kind voice. "You did well. You got two of them." His finger found itself wiping the blood away from her forehead. "We should try and find a safer place to be in case more of those creatures come into the room." He offered her a helping hand before asking, "can you stand?"
