Ave lay in the tree she fell in, hours ago. The night air was cold an pricked at her skin. It was hard to breath, it felt like she was being watched. Well she was, up above were blood thirsty wolves. She had fallen down the side of the cliff when they were running after her. Ave sighed, the tree was nice, no thorns poked her. The vines were thick making a perfect safety net, and the tree's branches made a perfect canoe around her body. The only reason she hadn't fallen asleep was the thought of a wolf getting brave enough to jump down. That and it was really cold outside. I mean it was freezing even with her pink, fluffy bunny jacket. The ears were flopped in her face so she didn't have to watch the gleaming eyes. And her pants were flares. Hiding away her feet in their biking boots.
Ave was laying so that her feet faced the cliff, the branches moving her body in a very relaxed U shape. Her arms crossed behind her head. She looked very relaxed like she was asleep at home. She sighed, her breath billowing up above her in a cloud. Causing the wolves to bark in a frenzy. It made Ave laugh at them. She was way to far down for them. about a good thirty-five yards. She was surprised she hadn't broken anything. Well I mean she did black out for a little and woke up laying her in this position. She opened one eye and moved her pink floppy air. She could see them shuffling among each other, their eyes glowing blood red. She cupped her hands around her mouth and made a howling noise causing them to run around one wolf even fell off and she watched it plummet down hitting jagged rocks and falling about three yards from her, missing the tree. She turned her head laughing. "That's what you get for chasing me off a cliff!"
Ave relaxed more watching the wolves above her. It actually entertained her after what happened.
Ave had been running hard for two hours now. A huge pack of black wolves following close, some even running to stay beside her. Snapping at her. A smile in their eyes and Ave tried to outrun them. They were playing with her, enjoying making her suffer before they devoured her. Ave could barely breath. It felt like her heart would collapse. Than she found only air under her feet. A screech left her mouth as she fell down head first.
Ave looked around, her body hurt. It felt likes eyes were watching her. Something more blood thirsty than the wolves. It seemed to be destroying her. Her breath began to come in short little gasps. Her mind felt hazy. Yet she fought to stay awake. Ave did her best to breath deeply. She just hoped she could find her way out of this mess.
