PHYSICAL APPEARANCE
Figure/build: In his human form Krad is 6/1 an very well defined. He has an abundance of masculine features much like those found on underwear models, yet not so much that he appears to be overcompensating for other shortcomings. Combat has perfectly chiseled his body so there is no extra muscle in any unnecessary places.
In his partial form, Krad's muscles become strained and stringy. His body seems to become emaciated and his muscles in a state of constant contraction. Though he remains the same height, his emaciated appearance gives the allusion that he is a few centimeters shorter than he actually is.
As a complete Kishin, Krad's muscles have relaxed once again and he returns to his average body stature, though the heavy angelic wings coated in black feathers makes him appear to be much larger than he actually is.
Hair:
In his neutral human state, Krad's hair is a beautiful ocean blue coloring that matches that of the majestic seven seas. His hair is fashioned in thick, arching spikes that flow gently with the wind as well as his movements and contain one central spike that curves down the center of his face, ending at the bridge of his nose. When his hair is wet, however, it turns into a shimmering waterfall of blue locks that come down to the tips of his shoulders with a banged fringe covering his left eye.
In his partial Kishin state, Krad's hair grows several centimeters and, strained by the raw and chaotic madness wavelenght, takes on a rugged, wild and savage appearance. The split ends that he works diligently into submission rebel with raw power and show their true, wild nature.
In his full Kishin form, Krad's hair returns to is regularly fashioned arches, though his hair now appears much larger and the arches seem as sharp as a weapon's blade. The central bang that curves over the left part of his face completely overshadows his eye and his hair takes on a navy blue tint verging on shadow black like the depths of the oceans where no light can reach.

In all his forms, his eyes match the color of his hair: a shimmering aqua blue when in his human form, a stained, lifeless blue when in his partial form, and a deep navy blue verging on black when in his full Kishin form.

Distinguishing marks:
In Krad's partial form he develops an abundance of cuts and scars as he literally sheds his human flesh to give birth to his fully fledged Kishin body. Also, as he battles and allows the madness to swell within him, he develops a growth on the left side of his back that, with time, rips through his skin like a popped pimple, exposing a fleshy wing that looks as if its feathers were ripped off mercilessly. As battle continues, he then develops another growth on the right side of his back that, just as the first one, spawns yet another fleshy, featherless wing. Also, the tips of his fingers turn into horribly misshaped claws strong enough to rend concrete, but because of their atrocious growth, they bleed along the sharper edges, causing his fingers to run red with blood.
In his full Kishin form, Krad's hair appears to be as sharp as knives, his skin as ivory as an elephant's tusk, and his now full wings abundant in thick, midnight blue feathers. His clawed fingers become beautifully manicured and no longer cut into his skin, but grow slightly longer and are as dense as a claymore allowing them to slice, cut and stab into anything they need to penetrate.
Clothing Style:
Krad doesn't really prefer any particular clothing style. One day he could be dressed semi-casual with a t-shirt and baggy jeans. Another moment he can be dressed to the tee in adventurer's garb such as his grayish white scarf, black tee shirt, grayish white baggy pants and taped leather black boots. Whatever the situation calls for you can best believe he will be dressed for the occasion. He dresses to impress, and impressing people is what he does. His wardrobe contains many different styles of clothing that he mixes, matches and changes into. There are too many variables to hint at any preferred style, though he is more often seen in his adventurer's garb sense he spends a lot of his time traveling the world in preparation for taking on the SRA.
Whilst in his partial form whatever clothing Krad was last wearing is torn to shreds. Dishoveled layers of fabric lay strewn across his body in tattered remnants of their former self, leaving most of his body bare with increments of clothing desperately clinging to his body.
Whilst ascended to the status of Full Kishin, Krad is draped in mythril blue robing with an iridescent shine that contains every shade of blue in the rainbow. These robes flow with ghostly freedom and are incredibly resistant to the elements.

Addictions:
The fickle human mind has Krad tied to an addiction to women and entertainment. Not a day goes by where he doesn't think of seducing nearby females for his later pleasures and not a day goes by where he doesn't do something for sheer entertainment. These human addictions are the only things that distract him from an endless thirst for blood, chaos and madness, however, once his partial form reveals itself, these addictions are replaced by an insane craving for blood, chaos, and of course madness.

Whilst in his partial form Krad's body becomes a molting shell of what is soon to come. Because of this, he spends all his time in excruciating pain as his skin literally peels from his flesh and his body mutates into something unholy.
PERSONALITY
Personality:
Though he may be a grown man, Krad can sometimes act like he’s still a young teenager. He can tries to maintain his cool all the time and be as calm as can be, but he still has feelings and emotions that like to rear up every now and then. On a normal day, he’s pretty cocky. Nothing ever scares or challenges him. Its not much a bravery as much as it’s just sheer arrogance and overwhelming self-confidence. He’s not the type to shy away from a challenge and believes strongly that he is the best and the baddest at everything, but because of this, he rarely gloats or flaunts his skills.
Krad isn’t an idiot, despite how he may act at certain times. He knows that the more he shows off the more people will want to challenge him. Even though he has an overwhelming confidence in himself and rarely turns down a challenge, it gets tiresome having to deal with people every single day telling him he can’t do something he know he can. Eventually, he just got bored with such things and stopped showing off as much as he used too. Instead, he maintains his cool and is very relaxed for the majority of the time.
Krad is also a very sociable person who seeks to have fun with people over all. He likes to play and joke around, though he tends to try and maintain his cool whilst doing so. He may act like he is aloof to things one moment, or that he has infinite wisdom another moment. He really likes to flirt most of all. He loves the attention of women, both young and old, but he is very picky about the women that he may try to take home with him, which is caused by his over confidence. He feels as though because he’s the best, she should only have the best looking women. He isn’t shallow when it comes to forming friendships, but he usually keeps others at a distance,
Krad likes to come and go as he wills. He doesn’t like to sacrifice his time and efforts for anyone else, which is why he usually keeps them at an acquaintance level, never forming any deeper feelings for anyone. He’ll do nice things for people and treat them as if they’re his best friends, but he never truly feels as strongly for people as they may think he does. It’s just how he is. Life experiences have taught him to keep feelings like that reserved only for yourself.
When in his partial Kishin and Full Kishin form, he is devoid of what sentient beings would classify as a personality. His natural instincts arouse the annihilation of everything that has the misfortune of crossing his line of sight. Though his partial form is much more feral than his calm, full form, both transformations lack any trace of consciousness and strive for nothing but the destruction of all living things.
Likes:
Krad loves rapping. Anything related to Hip-Hop and Rap are golden in his eyes. He also loves women as well. Beautiful, ugly, mean, nice: it doesn't matter to him. Though he would never consider bedding any female beneath his shallow standards, he enjoys being in the company of females and will surround himself with them whenever he has the opportunity. Above all else Krad is a dreamer. He loves to daydream and lose himself to deep thought. He recognizes this is only possible because he maintains a human conscious, but he doesn't mind. So long as his conscious, sane mind is in tact, he is happy and contempt with himself.
Dislikes:
Krad dislikes anyone with a closed mind. He believes that everyone and everything should be open to other influences so that it may grow, evolve and flourish. He dislikes when there are those who are closed off in their ways because he feels as though they believe they are superior to everyone. He also hates anything that is absolute. If there are no loopholes, no variable that may change an outcome, or no possible way to challenge the matter of fact, he detests it. Things as fundamental as the definitions of life and death piss him off. He refuses to accept that death is absolute and life can be taken away. He believes that laws are restrictions on nature that bind closed-minded beings to an eternity in a perpetual purgatory. Krad will not stand for such.
Fears/phobias:
As powerfully confident as he is, Krad has but two fears. He fears that his efforts to save the one he loves is in vein and he also fears that he will lose his mind to madness and insanity before his mission is completed.
Favourite colour:
Many in the past have speculated what this young man's favorite color would be. After examining his personality, clothing and overall lifestyle, some have inferred it may be either Blue, Black or red, however, they couldn't be further from the color of his choice. Though some would have better luck wrestling a salmon from a hungry bear, there have been individuals who've attempted to wrestle out the truth behind his favorite color. None would expect it to be the happy, sunshine shade of Yellow that he imagines whenever this question arises. Not even he himself knows why this is his favorite color. It is just one that tickles his insides whenever he sees it, though he will never tell.
Personality Strengths:
Krad views himself as a merciful, understanding and forgiving God, which gives him the confidence to show no hesitation when befriending others whether they fear him or not. His conscious mind also allows him the ability to plan and think things through before acting, which gives him an advantage over many corrupted souls. He can also be as cold as a glacier and show no mercy to those who do not deserve the mention of the word. Being an excellent judge of character, Krad can avoid lowering his defenses while in the company of certain individuals. He is just as smart as he is dangerous.
Personality Weaknesses:
Krad is incredibly lazy and will pass up once in a lifetime opportunity just because he doesn't "feel like it." He can be stubborn, thoughtless, aloof and forgetful at any moment just like an average human, which usually proves to be the difference between a successful plan and a failed one.
Hobbies:
Krad feels as though pursuing women is a hobby. Its something he enjoys doing in his free time and he has been doing it for years now. He also has a hobby of rapping to himself. There was once a time where he and his twin brother published their recordings through Death Records, but many of the copies of their CDs have been destroyed after Krad betrayed the academy and went rogue.
Taste in music:
His favorite type of music is a blend of Rap and Metal, much like Linkin Park, Celldweller's Shapeshifter an Southpaw Swagger's Can't Stop Now.

There are a few items that Krad holds close to him: items that remind him of a time before the madness and insanity took over his heart. A CD of the music he and his twin brother made together while still attending the DWMA, and a pendant that was supposed to be a gift for the Witch he was once in love with. These two memories remind him of a time where he thought the world might actually be a good place.
Talents/skills:
Krad has a wide range of talents and skills. Rapping is definitely one that he prides himself own. At one point, when he and his brother were recording at Death Records, Krad swore he could literally speak in rhyme. Another one of his many talents is a high culinary prowess. He is an extremely skilled chef who can serve many dishes that would make a fat pig explode with joy. His specialty lies in seafood, however: melted garlic butter lobster tail; Crunchy, spicy popcorn shrimp and tender, succulent seaweed-wrapped salmon.

Favorite food(s):
Even with his amazing skill in the kitchen and his ability to prepare some of the most difficult dishes out there, Krad’s most favorite food is nothing more than a simple grilled cheese sandwich.
Favorite drink(s):
There aren’t many things out there that Krad won’t drink, though if you asked him he would say his favorite drink is a simple Cherry Pepsi. He loves the carbonated taste of cherries on his tongue that goes along with the smooth yet tingling taste of pepsi; a great combination of smooth and rough all at the same time, no pun intended.
Disliked food:
Like most skilled chefs, there is a certain level of skill that once you reach, its hard to like anything below your standards. Much to that avail, there are a lot of foods that Krad simply won’t eat because he feels as though they’re too bland or need to be “kicked up a notch.” It got so bad one time that when he attempted to teach Sabrina how to cook something as simple as spaghetti, he almost died from sheer disgust; thinking to himself that it tasted like he was eating rubber bands.
Disliked drinks:
Oddly enough he doesn’t like tea. Any type of tea; Iced tea, green tea, any tea at all. Tea is so far from his “to drink” list that he actively avoids people just because they drink it. He doesn’t know why or when this distaste for tea started, but he does know that if all the tea in the world vanished he would be a very happy Krad.
COMBAT
Fighting skills/techniques:
Krad takes a more “hands on” approach to combat. He is very skilled in many styles of martial arts, but he relies heavily on his inhuman strength and speed when fighting. He rarely takes opponents seriously since, because of his maddening strength and dexterity, he is pretty much immune to most physical blows. Because of this, however, Krad tends to allow others to fight for him. He feels as though it’s only fair that way. Sometimes, however, he’s just lazy.
Special skills/magical powers/etc:
- Release: Being a Kishin, Krad has the ability to release his madness and insanity wavelength onto the surrounding area, both drastically increasing not only his strength, but the strength of anyone and anything that accepts insanity into them. This ability grants Krad 50% of his Demon God abilities and allows him to control low-level corrupt souls in the area.
- Mythril Claymore: When Krad transforms he becomes a massive mythril blue two-handed sword the same size as he is normally. This powerful and heavy blade weighs 178 pounds of pure mythril and is a good two inches thick, yet forms a v-shaped point at the end. This mythril blade is held in place by a black cross guard this is held together by a foot long black grip.

Weaknesses in combat:
Krad’s biggest weakness of all is the fact that the majority of his Demon God powers are sealed away much like his insanity. There is a price to pay with everything you gain, and with him regaining his sanity upon becoming a Demon God, he lost much of his raw strength as well. Because of this he knows that he cannot take on both Shinigami-Sama and the entire Shinigami Force, which is why he has begun raising an army to combat them.
Another of his battle weaknesses is his failure to take his opponents seriously. He allows them to get dangerously close to inflicting wounds on him and is generally a reckless fighter himself. He likes to toy around with his opponents just for a cheap thrill or a bit of entertainment. One of these days it just might get him killed.
Strengths in combat:
”I’m a fucking Demon.” is what he’d say, and he wouldn’t be lying. His demonic strength and dexterity along with his skill and control gives him a huge advantage in any fight, not to mention the fact that he can increase the power of his allies simply by releasing a bit of his wavelength into the world.

BACKSTORY
Describe their childhood (newborn - age 10):
Krad and his twin brother, Zephyros, were born to Derrick and Karen Claymore in the village of Nothung. This village was named after the legendary claymore who, wield by his partner, Siegfried, drove off a powerful Demon God who once plagued these lands. Ever since that ancient time, this village has been a breeding ground for the world’s most powerful Claymore weapons. Krad’s childhood was that of any average young boy, though he was definitely the more mischievous of the twins. He liked to push the boundaries of what is acceptable and what is not, though his brother Zephyros was an angel. He never got in to trouble. Never cried. He did what he was told and always helped out. Krad was a little jealous that his brother got so much attention, which is maybe why Krad was so rough around others. He wanted the same attention, but didn’t want to just, “be more like you brother.”
As Krad aged he became capable of doing more, he started to venture out away from the village. His brother would regularly accompany him on these adventures and they would do things like fish in the nearby river, camp out in the forest and generally have a good time with each other. Their bond as brothers was strong and it was this bond that saved their lives when a wild bear attacked them. It was at this time where they realized that, not only could they transform into their weapon forms, but they could also wield each other in combat. They drove off the bear and returned to the village with this news. Everyone was proud of Zephyros being able to transform, but nobody really congratulated Krad for taking hold of his brother and fighting off the bear. It was a big blow to his ego.
Krad finally learned how to fully shift into his claymore form at the age of 10, and this gained him a lot of attention, but many people still commented on how he was a year behind his brother. At this time Krad began to resent the other people of his village and made more frequent trips outside to the surrounding area; sometimes even without Zephyros. When he would come back, others would tend to start trouble with him. It got to a point where even the village leader’s daughter seduced and slept with Krad, then said that he raped her.
Krad was informally exiled from the village that same night and, along with it, threw away his last name. His twin brother, Zephyros, hunted him down and before Krad could argue how he was never going back to the village, Zephyros suggested they start a new life somewhere else. It was just like Zephyros to always take Krad’s side and have his back, so the two weapons traveled together to Shibusen, where they joined the DWMA and began the rest of their lives.
Describe their teenage years (11 - 19):
Instead of teaming up with Meisters right away, Krad and Zephyros would regularly wield each other in battle. Of course most of the staff members disapproved of this and badgered them to team up with actual Meisters, the twin claymores were perfectly fine fighting as they had been. Slowly, they began to make friends as they participated in classes and missions. Soon, they found themselves regularly teaming up with other students on their missions as they rose through the ranks. Eventually, Krad and Zephyros had made a solid group of friends. They were constantly together: doing missions or just hanging out, but when Zephyros became interested in a new Meister who joined the academy, the relationship the six friends had became strained.
Krad rarely ever saw his brother after he and this new girl began chatting. When he did, however, he was always with her and she was absolutely intolerable. Krad wasn’t the only one who didn’t like her, either. None of their friends liked this girl, but Zephyros insisted that she wasn’t a bad person. Tension in the group grew so high that the six friends almost disbanded because of this one girl; however, when Zephyros confronted his brother and begged him to at least give the girl a chance, Krad decided to give in. Zephyros was always there for Krad, now it was Krad’s turn to return the favor.
Eventually, the group realized the girl’s horrible attitude was just a defense mechanism for her being so shy and, with that knowledge, they forced her to join their group so that they could break her out of that shell. Ever since that day, their group became known as the Seven Saints. Lead by the claymore twins who were dual wield by the Meister, the Seven Saints quickly became the strongest team in the Shinigami Force; even rivaling the strength of some teachers when they were all together.
Ironically, whilst on a mission, Krad discovered a young Witch by the name of Sabrina who had been shunned by all other Witches and thrown out into the world to die, just as Krad had been when he was younger. He became involved with this Witch first out of interest, but soon he began to develop feelings for the Witch. She was everything he always wanted to be: Smart, kind, innocent; the things that he thought this world was stripped of. It didn’t take long before the two became romantically involved with each other and, in his spare time, Krad would always run off to hang with her so that she wouldn’t be lonely, however, his brother Zephyros soon discovered this relationship.
Zephyros promised his brother he would tell no one of this secret relationship and allow Krad and Sabrina to continue on as they had, but Zephyros’ Meister overheard the conversation and, feeling threatened by the Witch, alerted the head master. The next time Krad went out to meet the Witch, he was followed by staff members from the school and they ambushed, overpowered him, and kidnapped Sabrina. Krad was jailed for his crimes, but not before being present as the Head Master Shinigami banished Sabrina to spend eternity frozen in the dark void within his mirror.
After nearly a month of soaking in his own heart-broken insanity, Krad broke free, killed several people and devoured their souls.
This rogue student went on a wild killing spree until the remaining members of the Saints attempted to subdue him. It was a short battle, but the six students were able to stop their former comrade’s slaughter; however, after hesitating about dealing the final blow, Krad escaped. As he wandered the world as a wild corrupt soul he killed and feasted on the souls of everyone who he came in contact with, that is, until he came face to face with a Mad Witch. This witch, plagued by insanity, sacrificed her own soul to Krad, giving him a maddening boost of inhuman power. Ironically, this Witch’s soul was the 100th soul the rogue weapon had devoured, which transformed him into an insanity plagued Death Scythe.
Describe their adult years (20+):
With his newfound power, the Death Scythe, Krad, returned to the DWMA a year later with the intensions of destroying it utterly. Single-handedly he nearly decimated Death City in its entirety and slaughtered countless students and teacher before being confronted by the Saints again; however, this time the tables were turned. The rogue Death Scythe slaughtered his former kin and devoured their souls, saving that of his twin brother’s for last.
When he devoured the final soul, he finally ascended to the status of a new Demon God, but ironically, the effects of devouring the soul of his twin brother restored his sanity and sealed his insanity. The rogue student, while possessing the madness wavelength and strength of a Kishin, could not harness the true power of a Demon God.
Knowing that he could not yet face off against the head master Shinigami, Krad fled the destroyed city and, after taking on the name of the twin brother he devoured, the new Demon God, Krad Zephyros, fled the destroyed school and spent the next five years building an army of corrupt souls to finally overthrow Shibusen in its entirety.
